Reintroducing the cardigan to a new generation, Angela Missoni mixed tradition with urban as she dressed young men with the famed Missoni zigzag and other patterns for the cardigans and pullovers then layered them with parkas and windbreakers.
And we thought that Missoni could not do street wear! They could, but it has to be their way…
When looking through my personal research albums, I found an image of an extremely packed beach. And when looking at the collection i felt at link between the knit technique with the repetition and colours of these wind breakers.
